Seasons in Bodrum

Bodrum is well known as an international holiday destination during summer. From May to October a lot visitors are enjoying the unique atmosphere combined with a classical beach holiday or cultural trip.

But also “Off-Season” Bodrum has a lot to offer and is still an insider tip for individual travellers and shows the original side of Bodrum. The colourful bazaars are open on their scheduled days, temperatures pleasant and local people have more time for each visiting guest.

Spring:

Bodrum peninsula is the home of thousands of lemon- and tangerine trees. A touch of lemon smell is in the air – nature is green and full of exotic flowers. The hills and valleys are green with vegetation and the cool, sunny days are ideal for hiking and sightseeing. The bustle of the boatyards launching yachts is a fascinating attraction and even Children’s Day festivities are creative, worthy of this cosmopolitan town.

 
 

Summer:

Summer is the “hot” season in Bodrum. Although temperatures are pretty high, nature is still green. The sea is nice and warm, lonely bays are inviting to swim and relax. During summer Bodrum is the “In-Spot” for the international high society. Various Clubs, Bars and Discos are the meeting point for endless party nights.

 
 

Autumn:

Enjoyable temperatures and wonderful warm sea are typical for the mild autumn in Bodrum. The one and only “Bodrum Cup” takes place every year in October. Thousands of sailors are coming to Bodrum every year to watch this special event.

 
 

Winter:

The best time for lovers of nature and peace seekers. Winter in Bodrum is interplay of nature’s elements. One moment you have heavy storm and rain, next moment the sun shines again. After the first rain suddenly it becomes green and flowerage everywhere. The best time for hiking tours, excursions and of course to relax.
